Best-known and most beloved of all Sacramento Ballet productions, Ron Cunningham's The Nutcracker has
been seen by hundreds of thousands of people. The images of young Clara battling the Giant Mouse King, being saved by her Nutcracker Prince, and then journeying to the magical Snowflake
Forest and Kingdom of the Sweets have become a part of our culture. Joining the professional company in this annual production are more than 500 youngsters from throughout the region who
take their first "leap" into the world of performing arts with the Sacramento Ballet, making it a true holiday spectacular.
