Holding the oldest continuous dance charter in the state of Tennessee, the Oak Ridge Civic Ballet Association (ORCBA) is celebrating their 45th season with a Gala Celebration before presenting The Nutcracker with the UT Chamber Orchestra and Sound Company, Too!.  This will be the first time in over 25 years ORCBA has performed with live music. The Gala Celebration starts at 6:30PM on Saturday before the show. There is also an Encore Performance on Saturday at 11AM, which features a shorter one-act version of the ballet (with taped music) suitable for young kids or big groups. All performances are at the newly-renovated Oak Ridge High School Performing Arts Center. For ticket pricing and information, or to download a program, visit www.orcba.org  or call 865-898-4637.
