Originally premiered at the Imperial Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia 1892, over time The Nutcracker has become a holiday
tradition, not only in Europe but also in the USA. To honor the anniversary, OBT presents The Nutcracker with NEW Act I sets, designed by Phillip Lienau, this December. Choreographed by
artistic directors Mara Vinson & Oleg Gorboulev, The Nutcracker remains the most popular production in OBT's repertoire.
